Biography

Ebenezer "Eben" Sawyer Son of Josiah Sawyer and Rebecca Grindle was born in 1828 in Milbridge, Washington, Maine.

At age 22, he worked as a House Carpenter, in Milbridge, Washington, Maine.^[1]

He married Caroline Ray (1827 -1853) on November 22, 1852 in Milbridge, Washington, Maine. ^[2] They had one child.

His wife Caroline passed away on November 5, 1853, in Milbridge, Maine, at the age of 25. They had been married 1 year.

He married Martha H Dyer (1829-1902) on August 4, 1855 in Milbridge, Washington, Massachusetts.^[3] They had 3 children.
