Franz Schoen migrated from Germany to Michigan.

The son of Franz Schoen and Amelie Schulzen, Frank Schoen was born in Breslau, Germany in 1853.[1] He immigrated with his parents to the United States in the fall of 1854, sailing aboard the S.S. Catharina,[2]

Frank and his family settled in Michigan, where he married Anna Minerva (Bell) Scranton in Concord Township, Michigan on December 27, 1877.[3] They made their home in Concord Township, Michigan, where Frank worked for the railroad as a freight agent.[4]

Frank Schoen is believed to have passed away in Saginaw, Michigan[citation needed] at the age of 28[5] and is buried at Maple Grove Cemetery in Concord Township, Michigan.[6]
