Mary was born in Norwich Township, Franklin, Ohio in 1847 to Emanuel Scofield (1828-1893) and Rachel (Hamilton) Scofield (1830-deceased) married Theodore Cook on 17 Nov 1864 in Franklin Co., Ohio. She was 16, and he was 21.[1] They had a family, including:[2][3]
