Thomas Henry SCOTT, "Old Tom," was the eldest child of Hope Brigdon SCOTT & Mary Ann GRINER. Thomas Henry was almost 10 years old when his father enlisted for the Southern Cause; he was not yet twelve when his father died in Confederate service. Old Tom was the husband, first of Louisa A. BEARD, and then of Sarah Elizabeth JEFFERS.
Old Tom and Louisa A.
