Biography

Born 23 Aug 1888.

Frances Elizabeth Scott is born to the Canadian immigrant John Arthur Scott and his wife Mary Ann Warren in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota.[1]

Shortly after Frances' birth the young family relocates to Superior City, Wisconsin, where Frances' father works for the Railroad.

2 Jun 1900 Frances' parents own a house at 2013 North 24th Street in Superior City, Douglas County, Wisconsin.[2]

21 Jan 1909 Frances marries Theodore Stephen Graffer of Superior, son of Hans Graffer and Lena Bacon.

Frances and Theodore stay in Superior, where Theo also works for the Railroad. On 24 Dec 1909 their son Burdette W Graffer is born.[3]

22 Apr 1910 The young family rents a home at 2716 22nd Street in Superior, Douglas County, Wisconsin.[4]

Frances' mother Mary dies at the hospital in Superior, Wisconsin from acute Brights disease on 25 Mar 1912. She is buried at the Greenwood Cemetery in Superior, Douglas County, Wisconsin, USA.[6]

7 Jan 1920 Frances and her husband own a house at 2018 Banks Avenue in Superior, Wisconsin now.[7] Her father also stays with them.

Together with her father, Frances and her family relocate to Los Angeles, California sometime in the 1920ies.

22 Apr 1930 The Graffers rent a house at 7535 Owensmouth Avenue in Los Angeles, California.[8] Theo still work for the Railroad.

Frances and Theodore divorce, I assume sometime in the early 1930ies. He is remarried in 1940.

Frances' father John dies at the age of 85 on 19 Oct 1935 in Los Angeles, California, USA.[9] He is burried next to his wife at the Greenwood Cemetery in Superior, Douglas County, Wisconsin, USA.[10]

3 Apr 1940 Frances is listed living with both of her children she owns the house at 7531 Owensmouth Avenue in Los Angeles, California.[11]

Buried Oakwood Memorial Park Chatsworth, Los Angeles County, California, USA.[13]
