In the 1881 Census of Canada, Eliza Scott (aged 9) was recorded living with her father Henry Scott (61, a Farmer), her mother Rebecca Scott (38) and her three siblings William Scott (14), John Scott (11) and George Scott (7) at Plympton, Lambton, Ontario[2].
Sadly her mother Rebecca passed away on 15 January 1889 at the age of about 49.
Eliza Scott (aged 39) was recorded in the household of her younger brother George Scott (31) in Lambton West Sub-Districts 1-37, Ontario in the 1911 Census of Canada. Also in the household was her widowed father Henry Scott (91 and a Farmer) and two other individuals[3].
Her father Henry passed away on 25 April 1918 at the age of 98.
On 29 August 1936, aged 63, she married 66 year old widower James Tinney (the son of John Tinney and Mary Cruickshank) at Sarnia, Lambton, Ontario, Canada. Her occupation was recorded as Practical Nurse[4].
Elizabeth Scott (the wife of James Tinney) probably passed away in 1941 and was buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville, Chatham-Kent Municipality, Ontario, Canada[5].
