I am working on their son, Lewis. Some sources I am looking at say Robert Diggs Whitfield married Susan Ann (Norsworthy) 1825 - abt. 1870, daughter of William Norsworthy. Same children as listed on Robert's page. Your ancestry links are bad so can't see them. Are you certain of her last name being Scott? Thanks!

I'll check the Ancestry.com links. Meanwhile, I see that Susan O. Scott married Robert D. Whitfield on 28 Dec 1841 in Montgomery County, Tennessee. She was 16 years old when she was married.

By the way, it would be helpful if you could provide the source for "Susan Ann (Norsworthy) 1825 - abt. 1870, daughter of William Norsworthy".
