In the list of residences in the 1850 census William Seal, Jr., lived close to William Seal, Jacob Seal and his family, Charles Seal and his family, Solomon Seal and his family, Amos Seal and his family, and Anthony Seal and his family. All were farmers except for Charles who was a blacksmith.
He appeared on the census of 11 August 1870 at Hancock County, Mississippi.[1]
Hancock County, Mississippi
William Seal, Jr., is listed as William Teal, Jr., in the index of this census although his children have the Seal surname. I have done some research into the question of the proper surname. Rather than repeat it here I refer to the Notes at https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Seal-880&action=edit.
Barentha may also be Amarentha Jarrell, born 1928.
