Biography
John Searcy was born in Nottinghamshire, England.
John Sarcy was baptised 25 January 1671 at Willoughby on the Wolds, Nottinghamshire [1]
No record has been found for his marriage to his first wife, Sarah. She is presumed to have died coincident with the birth of their son William in 1702 although no separate burial record has yet been found for her.
John Siersey of Widmerpool, husbandman, widower, married Mary Morrice of the same parish, spinster aged 23, at Widmerpool on the 23rd January 1702/03 [2]
John Searcy died in 176 and was buried at Widmerpool on the 8th of April [3]
