Douglas (Later known as William or Bill) was born on 19 February 1928, in Waikerie, South Australia (SA), the son of Douglas SEARLE and Catherine CAMERON.^[1]

William married Joyce ROBINSON on ? 1949 in ? Victoria (at ?).^[2]

William died on 19 September 1995 at Riverland Regional Hospital, Berri SA.^[3] His funeral held on 22 September 1995 in the St Albans Anglican Church, Berri SA.^[4] He was interred (buried) on 22 September 1995 in Berri Cemetery, Berri SA.^[5]
