Biography

Edward Sears Jr was born in 1734 in perh, Halifax, Plymouth, Massachusetts as the first child of Edward Sears and Desire Holmes. He had five siblings, namely: Sarah, Mercy, Betsy, Josiah, and Desire. He died on 23 Apr 1812. When he was 16, he married Mary French on 28 May 1750 in Abington, Plymouth, Massachusetts

Edward Sears Jr and Mary French had the following children:

  1. Holmes Sears was born on 13 Jul 1757 in Halifax, Plymouth, Massachusetts. He died on 05 Nov 1836 in Halifax, Plymouth, Massachusetts. He married Mercy Cushing on 18 Mar 1781. He married Mercy Bradford on 25 Nov 1790 in Plymouth, Plymouth, Massachusetts.
  2. Mary Sears was born on 08 Nov 1758 (Halifax). She died on 08 May 1842 in Halifax, Plymouth, Massachusetts.
  3. Lucinda Sears was born on 26 Apr 1761 in Halifax, Plymouth, Massachusetts. She married Benjamin Capen on 26 Dec 1785 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts.
  4. Mercy Sears was born on 17 May 1764 (Halifax). She died on 18 Dec 1823.
  5. Jonathan Sears was born on 20 Dec 1770. He died on 06 Jan 1771.
