Biography
Sarah Mabel "Sadie" Seavey was born at Crawford, Maine, 1 Aug 1880, the daughter of Luther Gilbert Seavey and Sarah B. Hathaway;

died at Hartland, Maine, Sunday, 11 Apr 1965, and is buried in the Morse's Corner Cemetery, Corinna, Maine.

CORINNA — Sadie Mabel McKenney, 84, died Sunday at a Hartland nursing home.
She was born at Crawford, August 1, 1880, daughter of Luther and Sarah (Hathaway) Seavey.
She was educated in schools of Waite. She was married to B. Pratt McKenney in 1910 [sic]. They settled in Weston. In 1914, they moved to Carroll, coming to Corinna in 1917. She was a member of the Morse's Corner Church and taught Sunday school there for many years, She was a member of the Morse's Corner Circle and a former member of Carroll Grange.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Rae Whitney of Newport, Mrs. Olive Thrasher of Cape Elizabeth, Mrs. Ruby Badger of Auburn; a son, Richard of Dexter; three step-daughters, Mrs. Edna Lindsay and Mrs. Beulah Thurston of California, Miss Agnes McKenney of Corinna; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be hell Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Morse's Comer Church, the Rev. Alice T. Hart officiating.
Burial will be in the family lot in Morse's Comer Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Farnham Funeral Home, Newport, Monday afternoon and evening.
