Biography

Eunice was born about 1825.

She was married twice: First marriage to James Sanders in Vermilion, Indiana on 22 April 1843. ^[1]. In 1850, they resided in Henderson, Illinois ^[2]. Their children ^{[2] [3]}:

1. Eunice Clarissa Sanders, born 1844
2. Stephen Marion Sanders, born 1845
3. Lorina F. Sanders, born 1848
4. Ann Sanders, born 1850
5. Jemima Sanders, born 1853

Second marriage to William Hepburn in 1860 ^[4]. In 1860, they resided in Eugene Township, Vermilion County, Indiana with their children from their previous marriages ^[3]. Their children ^{[5] [6]}:

1. John Hepburn, born 1861
2. Ellen Hepburn, born 1862
3. William Hepburn, born 1863
4. Minnie Hepburn (1868-1948)
5. Ida Hepburn, born 1872

In 1892, she applied for a Civil War widow's pension ^[7]. In 1900 she was a widow and resided in Cayuga, Ohio with her son William ^[8]. She passed away at an unknown date after the 1900 census.
