Samuel was born in 1809. He is the probable son of Joseph Seay and Agnes Ligon.[1]
He married Eliza R. on 2 Feb 1842 in Campbell Co., Virginia. She was the widow of a Mr. Allgood, with two sons, Richard and William.[2] Samuel and Eliza had son John Christopher about 1845 and possibly a son Samuel F. after 1850.[3]
Samuel and Eliza were on the 1850 census in Yazoo Co., Mississippi, with her Allgood sons and their son John. Samuel was a wagon maker.[4] That is the last record I have found for either of them.
