Biography

William was born about 1725. William was the son of Edward Selfridge and Elizabeth Burns. He passed away about 1775. ^[1]

William was an early settler of the town of Cambridge, NY^[2] He was married to Catherine McMaster on 5 February 1757 at Palmer, MA. ^[3] William and his brother, Oliver, were members of the Whiteside Coventer church, Cambridge, Washington Co., NY. Each of them had a child baptized at the first meeting at the church on 19 August 1764^[4] William was ordained as ruling elder of Whiteside Coventer church on 22 October 1769^[4]
