Biography
Patrick was born in 1780, Elgin, Morayshire, Scotland[1]
In the early 1800s, he worked for the Sutherland family as their factor and helped them 'clear' their lands in Sutherland and Caithness.
In April 1816, Sellar was acquitted on the charges of culpable homicide and arson stemming from his clearance work.[2]
In 1841, he was a farmer at Morvich, in Golspie, Sutherland.[3]
Patrick passed away 1851 in Elgin, Morayshire, Scotland.
