Linney Settle was born about 1776 in Virginia to parents Henry Settle and Ann Peach. She married Zachariah Chappelear on 9 Aug 1799, Culpeper, Virginia. Children: Hanson Brammel, Hedgeman Brammel, Henry A, Samuel Benjamin, Elizabeth, Nancy, Catherine, William Woods. She died after 1840 in Reading, Perry, Ohio.
