Biography
When John Richard Sewell was born on January 14, 1842, in Madison, Georgia, his father, John, was 22 and his mother, Martha, was 17. He married Vashti Cathren Latham on January 27, 1874, in Haralson, Georgia;[1] they had at least one son:
- Walter A (1875–1949)
He died on April 8, 1892, in Cherokee, Alabama, at the age of 50, and was buried there.[2]
