Sarah Sewell was born on 27 April 1864 in Berrima, New South Wales, Australia [1], the daughter of George Sewell and Mary Anne Nye.
She married John Sparkes Cosgrove on 15 November 1883 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia [2], and they were the parents of Roy Cosgrove, Rouse Frederick Cosgrove, Philomena Olive (Cosgrove) Wallis, Adelaide Mary Cosgrove, Neil Cosgrove, Clarice Cosgrove, Violet May Cosgrove and Mervyn Cosgrove.
Sarah died on 10 June 1942 in Moss Vale, New South Wales, Australia [3] and was buried in the All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Sutton Forest, New South Wales, Australia [4][5].
