"Dorothy E. Shadle, 72, of Marysville, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Harrisburg Hospital with her loving son by her side. She was a member of Shermansdale Seventh Day Adventist Church. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandson Jacob. She is survived by her son Patrick E. Shadle of Marysville, her grandson Jacob. R. Shadle of Marysville, 3 brothers Clarence Shadle of Harrisburg, Richard Shadle of Landisburg, and James Shadle of Landisburg, 3 sisters Carrie Wevodau of Summerdale, Barbara Gordy of Carlisle, and Karen Clouser of Summerdale, and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 3 PM Monday, February 20, 2012 at Ronald C.L. Smith Funeral Home 325 N. High St. Duncannon, PA 17020. Visitation will be held from 2 PM until time of services. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Dorothy's honor may be made to Jacob's Education Fund P.O. Box 93 Summerdale, PA 17093.
