Biography

Thomas was born on 4 April 1858 in Gingin, Western Australia.^[1][2] He is the son of John Shannon and Mary Boyle.

He may have married Elizabeth Mottram in 1897 at Canning Mills.^[3] Another source gives her name as Elizabeth Mottram Hall.^[4] No children have been found to the couple. No remarriage has been found for Elizabeth nor certain death details.

He may be the Thomas Shannon, a timber worker "aged about 40" who died at Jarrahdale in 1901.^[5] However that Thomas supposedly had three children.
