In August, a son, Robert Shannon was born to Mr. Shannon, an Iron Moulder, and his wife, Ellen Shannon.^[1]

On November 5th, after suffering from convulsions for 3 days, Robert passed away with her mother by his side. He was only 3 months old. At this time, they were residing at 48 Great Georges Street.^[1]
