Biography
James was the son of Clement Sharp and Harriet Plenty, whose children were all born in Romsey, Hampshire England. The family emigrated to Boston, Massachusetts some time before his marriage. These locations, James and his wife were named in his father's will[1].
James married Susan G Thwing in about 1822 in Roxbury.[2] James died on 5 July 1873 and was buried in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States.[3]
