Formerly Daisy Sharpe, the bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs H. E. Sharpe, of Ballina, and her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Rice, of Canowindra. The wedding took place in St. Stephen's Presbyterian Church, and Rev. Ferrier officiated. The bride's gown consisted of chantilly lace over slipper satin, and with it was worn a hand embroidered veil, and she carried a bouquet of asters, tuberoses and frangipanni. Sister of the bride, Marge Sharpe, was bridesmaid, and Lindsay Gray was best man. The couple is honeymooning at Burleigh Heads and Brisbane.
