Annie (Sharples) Hoyle migrated from Lancashire, England to Ontario, Canada.
Annie Theresa, the daughter of Alice and Richard Sharples, was born on Aug. 21, 1865, in Lancashire.[1] Following her father's death, she immigrated to Ontario, Canada, with her mother, siblings and stepfather Thomas Hoyle (1832-1916). There, she married John Hoyle (1859-1929), her stepfather's Yorkshire-born son. She died on Feb. 17, 1939, in Gelert, Snowdon Township, Haliburton County, and was buried there on Feb. 19th.[2]
