Biography

Rufus was born on March 28, 1888 in Texas to Rufus King Shaver and Mary Louise Land. He was one of six children born to this union. His siblings were Nicholas John, Lillian Belle, Richard Andrew, Edward Braxton and Elma Electa Sinda. Rufus passed away on March 22, 1904 in Texas. He was buried in Land Cemetery in Jarrell, Texas.
