Maria was born about 1841. She was the daughter of Scottish immigrants Duncan Shaw and Isabella Colville. [1]
She married Darius Warren Payne in 1872. [2]
They moved to Iowa. [3]
They had one daughter, Genevieve (Tilton) 1875-1960
Maria passed away in 1883 in Iowa.
