Robert George Shaw was born on 4 Jun 1873 in New Zealand, son of Robert Shaw and Annabella Gordon. ^[1]

Robert died on 5 September 1934 at Manitoto Hospital, Ranfurly, Rober lived in Wedderburn. His wife Mary Elizabeth White is the executor of his estate.^{[3] [4][5]}
