Elijah Lee "Peyton" Gragg married Missouri "Montana" Shedd (daughter of James Shedd and Sarah "Sally" Godfrey). Missouri was born 29 March 1882 in North Carolina. She died 2 March 1954 in Clayton and is buried next to Elijah in the Flat Creek Cemetery.
