Esther, the eldest of five children of Benjamin Shed and Elizabeth Hill was born on 4 February 1738 at Billerica, Massachusetts.[1]
Marriage and Children
Esther married Nathaniel Patten (1733-1813), the son of Nathaniel and Mary (Kidder) Patten on 3 November 1763 at Billerica, Massachusetts.[2] They had eleven children:

Death and Burial
Esther (Shed) Patten died on 13 April 1815 in her 76th year at Stafford, and is buried in Old West Stafford Cemetery at West Stafford, Tolland, Connecticut.[14].
