I am having problems with linking John I Sheffield to his stated father, Ichabod Sheffield. John is not listed in Ichabod's will, and looking at Ichabod's children's dates of birth, all the listed children in the will were born in Rhode Island.
If John's parents were born, married, and died in RI, and if John himself married in RI, isn't it most likely that he was also born in RI instead of VA?
