Henry was born in Brotherton 1863, the son of Jane Shepherd. [1] & baptised 17 May 1863, Brotherton Chapel, Yorkshire the son of Jane Shepherd. [2]
With grandparents James Shepherd & Mary in 1871 living in Railway House, Brotherton, Yorkshire. [3]
Living with siblings & mother in 1881 in Low Lane, Brotherton, Yorkshire. He worked as a tinner. [4]
