43 + Margaret, bapt. May 9, 1714 ; m. Thomas Sherburn. 43. Margaret born in Boston and bapt. May 9, 1714, married, April 26, 1739, Thomas Sherburn of Boston. He was a cabinetmaker. Miss Gowen speaks with pride of the Sherburn family, and mentions them as large landholders in Boston. The will of Thomas Sherburn, Gent., made March 31, 1784, proved July 13, 1784, gives to son Thomas cabinet-making tools, etc., mentions daughters Margaret and Elizabeth Sherburn, Sarah Winslow, Hannah White, and son William. Wife not named, and probably then dead. The division of his property speaks of his “ Mansion House ” as on Back now Salem) Street. [1] pp. 62, 87-88
