Rosannah Shipley was born on 2 February 1748 in Saint Thomas's Parish, Baltimore, Province of Maryland, daughter of George Shipley (1726–1789) and Catherine Ogg (1728–1803).[1][2]
Rosannah and Joshua Porter were probably married before 1769 in Maryland. Their children were:
Shipleys of Maryland states that Isaac, George, Joshua, Rezin, and Peter all went to Ohio at about the time of their grandfather's death.[2]
Rosannah died about 1828 in Elkridge, Anne Arundel, Maryland, United States, aged 79. She was buried in the Old Shipley Graveyard in Elkridge.[3]
