Margaret Shockey was born in 1822 in Tennessee.^[1]

On March 1, 1837, Margaret married Joseph McClain in Knox County, Tennessee.^[2]

According to the 1850 census, Margaret lived with Joseph and their children, Mary, Amanda, Martha, Henry, Harriet, and William in Knox County, Tennessee.^[1]

Margaret died in 1852. I can't find a sourced for this. Joseph remarried in 1857.
