Biography
Henry Clinton Shoults was the son of Jacob Israel Shoults and Pelagie (Valle) Shoults. In 1880, he was seventeen years old and living in his parents household in Crawford County, Missouri.
On January 10th, 1855, in the County Seat of Crawford County, Steeleville, Missouri, Henry married Sarah Frances Whilhite/Wilhite, [1] daughter of William Wilhite and Frances (Britton) Wilhite. Sarah was born February 18, 1865 in Missouri, and died Aug. 2, 1934, in Cuba, Crawford County, Missouri, after a battle with pulmonary tuberculosis. According to the 1940 census, Henry was living in the household of his son, Frank, his wife, Nydia and their daughter, Doris, in St Louis, Missouri.
On March 8, 1946, while living in Wright City, Missouri, Henry Shoults died of cardiac arrest. Henry and Sarah are buried in the Mounts Cemetery in Cuba, Crawford County Missouri. [2]
