P 1129 of "Genealogical and family history of western New York" available on line indicates it was Daniel Shrieve, son of John Shrieve, who died in the swamping of fishing boat in Buzzards Bay, MA. No date is given. However, it was John, based on the mention of his wife Amey Head and daughter Elizabeth.
