Biography

Elijah was born about 1810. He was the son of Adam Shriver and Delilah Gordon. Elijah Shriver's birth on January 23, 1810, was among the first in Guernsey County, Ohio. [1]

Elijah was married to Margaret Witten on November 11, 1841 in Guernsey county, Ohio.[2]

In 1860 Elijah was living in Jackson Twp., Guernsey Co., Ohio next to his brother-in-law, Thomas White, and his sister, Jane[3].

Margaret Witten Shriver passed away on May 23, 1872 in Guernsey county, Ohio and Elijah married a second time, this time to Jane Wilson Shaw, the widow of Philip Shaw. Elijah and Jane were married by Pastor W. A. Robinson on April 22, 1875 in Guernsey county.[4]

He passed away on October 31, 1896.[5]
