Siefferman, Floyd E., Jr. Age 82, passed away Aug. 23, 2014. Survived by beloved wife of 60 years, Jane, missed by his children, Allen, Stephen (Christine), Thomas (Beverly), and Christina, as well as 7 grandchildren, brothers Norman and Gordon Siefferman. A 1954 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Floyd served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Judge Advocate General's Corps to the rank of Major. He earned his J.D. from Emory University with top honors. Admitted to the Georgia bar, he practiced law in Atlanta, GA from 1959 to 1983 and in Minneapolis, MN until 2012, including in the U.S. Courts of Appeal and the U.S. Supreme Court. A devoted Christian, he had been a member of Wooddale Church of Eden Prairie, MN. One hour visitation prior to a memorial service on August 26th at 12:00 pm at the Eden Prairie Chapel of Washburn-McReavy, 7625 Mitchell Road. Interment on Sept. 26 at 12:00 pm at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. ^[1]
