Biography
Jane Sill was born on 3rd October 1842 in Redcar, Yorkshire, England.[1] Her parents were Charles Sill and Sarah Longbottom. She was baptised at St Peter's, Redcar on 20th November 1842.[2] Her father stated on the register that he was a fisherman and that the family were living in Redcar at the time. Both Jane's birth and baptism dates were recorded on the register and it was noted that she was the third daughter of Charles and Sarah.
Jane died in 1847.[3] Yorkshire Burials, Teesside Archives, archive reference PR/REC/1/3, She was buried at St Peter's, Redcar on 12th December 1847.[4]
