She passed away in 1964.
RALSTON - Agnes Ralston, 87, 1719 Douglas St., died at 9:10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 1964, in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born Oct. 14, 1876, in Argyle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Sillars. Lived 24 years in Rockford, coming here from Argyle. Married to John A. Ralston in Argyle Nov. 22, 1900. He died in 1943. Member of Willow Creek Presbyterian Church. Survivors include: two daughters, Eleanor Ralston, with whom she lived, and Mrs. Harold Reid, Argyle; a son, Dr. Donald R. Ralston, Rochester, Minn.; five grandchildren, Marianne Ralston, Donald Ralston, Gregory Ralston and Nancy Ralston, all of Rochester, Minn., and Mrs. Margaret L. King, Egan; and two great-grandsons.
Services at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, in BURPEE-WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 420 N. Main St. with the Rev. Lester Reemstma, pastor of Willow Creek Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial in Scottish Cemetery, Argyle. No visitation. [3]
John and Agnes were third cousins once removed. John Huie (Howie) was the third great grandfather of John and the second great grandfather of Agnes.
