Biography

Max Silvey (né Harry Silverstein) was born in 1889. He was the son of Abraham Silverstein and Lena Solinsky.[1][2][3][4][5] He married Gertrude Kahan in 1909.[5][6] They had four children:

  2. Pauline (Paula)[8][9]
  3. Florence
  4. Alvin

Max died in 1967.[10]

Obituary

SILVEY—Max. Beloved husband of the late Gertrude, loving father of Charlotte Marcus, Paula Riskin, Florence Green and Alvin Silvey. Cherished grandfather and great-grandfather. Funeral Services today, 1:30 P.M. at Garlick's Chapel, 98-60 Queens Blvd, Forest Hills.[11]
