Biography
Hesper (Gould) Simmons and her husband Ray Clement Simmons' family lived on Silver Lane, East Hartford, in 1930:

Attended Loomis School in Windsor Connecticut and graduated from Amherst College. He taught high school history in Florida and ran a campground in New Hampshire, called "Lost River".
He m(1) Ruth Brewer of Connecticut. On April 8, 1940, Clem and Ruth, both of East Hartford, Connecticut, were staying at the Wellington Hotel in North Adams, Massachusetts. Clem was a food salesman and a college graduate, age 24; his wife Ruth, also born in Connecticut, was age 23. [2]
He m(2) Nancy Henderson. Lieutenant Clement Simmons served in the Coast Guard during WWII. He died in Woodstock, Grafton, New Hampshire, on 21 April 1998. [3]
