Death

She died on the 7th of October 1883 in Callao, Macon, Missouri and be buried in the Old Callao Cemetery^[2]

CALLAO ITEMS^[11]

Died-Sunday evening, Oct. 7th, 1883, Rachel, wife of Judge I. W. Paine, aged 61 years. She had been sick for 18 days with typhoid fever; her funeral was preached at the M. E. Church Tuesday by Rev H. R. Crockett of Macon City; her remains were interred in Callao Cemetery. Mrs. Paine was a member of the C. P. Church. A host of friends and relatives sympathize with the bereaved husband in this his sad bereavement.
