Biography

George was originally from England and, at the time of his death, his parents lived in Newcastle Upon Tyne.^[1]

George was a miner. He had a 14th share in a claim known as the North Star, South Beach, Westland, New Zealand. At the time of his death he was living in Nelson Creek, Westland, New Zealand.

He passed away in 1870 at Greymouth Hospital of paralysis aged 22.^[2]
