Mattie was born 15 May 1885 at Madill, Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory, the daughter of Joe and Janie Simpson. Mattie passed away 9 Jul 1911 at Oakland, Marshall, Oklahoma. She is buried at the Oakland Cemetery, Oakland, Marshall County, Oklahoma.[2]
Mattie was the Ward of Palmer Simeon Mosely until 20 April 1903 when the court appointed Siney Beam as her Guardian.[3]
