Nancy was born in 1930. She passed away in 2015.
* Nancy was the daughter of the late William Shafter and Lura Benson Simpson.
She is survived by sons: Sidney F. Winstead, Jr. of Lexington and Ronald (Sandra) Winstead of Gaston; daughter: Cathy (Tim) Williams of Lexington; grandchildren: T. J. Williams, Stacey Pommier, Veronica Stapleton and Jay Winstead; and great-grandchildren: Chloe and Logan. She was preceded in death by all of her brothers and sisters.
