Biography
Harry Simpson was enumerated as head of the household at 141 North Newberry Street, York city Ward 5, York County, Pennsylvania for the June 7, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as a clerk (gas company) and born March 1865 in Pennsylvania. He had been married ten years and was a renter as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Louisa Simpson, daughter Maria Simpson, daughter Ruth Simpson, daughter Lillie Simpson, son Harry Simpson and son George Simpson.[1]
