Biography
Percival was born about 1888. He is the son of William Sims and Emily Thompson. [1]
It seems that Uncle Percy joined the Royal Navy in 1905, married at the start of 1909, then emigrated to Canada joining his brother in Ruby Lake, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada
Uncle Percy fought with the Canadians in WW1, joining on the CEF in 21st September 1916, lost a leg at Vimy Ridge, then became a successful farmer back in Canada, he had a family in Canada, Son Herbert Charles, Son Ralph, Daughter Olive Rose, the latter two both married.
