Friedrich "Fritz" Singer was born 14 Jun 1841 in Stadt 494, Wien, Österreich, son of Ignaz Singer and Louise (Löwy) Singer.
Friedrich Singer worked for many years for Bank Rothschild. He was director of the 'Wiener Hypotheken-Kasse'. He was also a writer; he used the pseud. S. Fritz. He wrote among others Thoren und Thörinnen: Kleine Geschichten.
He married 30 September 1872 in Vienna Henriette Hirschler, daughter of 'Kaiserlichen Rates' Sigmund Hirschler.[1] She died 26 May 1883 in Wien.
He died 10 Dec 1910 after a long illness in Am Hof 11, Wien, Österreich, aged 69 years.
